In most cases, Mapiq connects with your Company’s Active Directory via SSO. You can easily identify whether your company uses SSO (Sing Sign On) or SSU (Self Sign Up). Depending on which configuration is used, a different approach applies when it comes to resetting your password.
Single Sign On (SSO)
When SSO is configured, that means that account management for your Mapiq user account in reality is done by your Company. Because of this, if you are looking to reset or change your password, unfortunately, we are unable to assist, and instead, you’d need to reach out to your local IT and they will be able to give you a new password.
Self Sign Up (SSU)
When SSU is configured, that means that you create your user account yourself and you can also reset your password on your own by clicking on the Forgot your Password link on the log-in page, then following the instructions.
