Why can't I book anything?

Empty week overview

Within Mapiq, users are allowed to book a shift in their office. Sometimes, it occurs that users are unable to do anything. An empty week overview is shown to the user, and above the week overview Max. reached 0/0 is stated. Digging a big deeper, and checking the Your profile tab, a quota of 0 is stated.

Note that in the Max. reached 0/0. The first number indicates the number of shifts booked for that specific week, the second number dictates the number of shifts you are allowed to book per week. In an example, 1/3 means 1 shift booked, with a maximum of 3 shifts that you can book that week.

Quota is set to 0

Whenever you find that your quota is set to 0, by either checking the Your profile tab or the indication Max. reached 0/0, it means that the Mapiq Administrators within your organization disabled all the bookable days in your Quota profile. In short, quota profiles are configured with the intent to set a safe capacity. It allows administrators to set the following:

  • Your weekly quota
  • How many days ahead you can book your shift
  • Which days of the week you can book

Solution

It was mentioned earlier, but it is very important to remember that the administrators configuring Mapiq are appointed within your own organization. Meaning that Mapiq appoints a Subscription Administrator from your organization, who can appoint different administrators within the organization, to help configure your Mapiq application. This also means that Mapiq has no say in the configuration active within your organization. We only provide support in configuring the environment.

That being said, if you feel you should be placed into a different Quota profile, you need to reach out to your local appointed administrators. They can assist you in setting the correct permission. If you have no idea who to contact, you can use either of the two options below:

  1. Contact the e-mail address listed under Questions? under Your Profile (right top corner through the web interface, bottom right corner through the mobile app). Mind you, that you can also see an overview of all your permissions within Mapiq.
  2. In case no e-mail address is listed (it's not mandatory), get in touch with your local IT or facility desk. Usually, these are the colleagues within your organization who can direct you to the correct person.
