How to use Office Shifts
Office Shifts is based on an Office Shifts Admin portal and an Office Shifts application. In the Office Shifts Admin portal management / HR / crisis teams have configured safe capacities for your building(s). This allows you to book your favorite spot at the office and still make sure a safe number of people is ensured.
The Office Shifts application is a native mobile app and web based responsive application, which you can use on all of your devices with a modern browser ( Chrome, Edge, Safari).
Login to Mapiq Office Shifts
You can log in to Mapiq’s Office Shifts by visiting our responsive web application via shifts.mapiq.com. Enter your email address and use your office password to login. There are two ways you can log in, depending on your situation. Login with your company credentials or without company credentials.
Login with your company credentials
In this case, you are able to log in with the credentials you normally used to access company systems. You can log in as follows:
Click on sign in
Fill in your email address
Fill in company password
Login without company credentials
When logging in without company credentials, you will first need to create an account through Mapiq Office Shifts. Read how you can do that in the article Creating a new account.
Login for the first time
When logging in for the first time, you will see a welcome message configured by your employer. This welcome message is accompanied by your specific profile with your access rights. If two or more buildings are configured, you will also been given the opportunity to set your default office.

Book a shift in Mapiq’s Office Shifts
Now that you’re logged into Mapiq you're ready to book your first shift. You can book a shift by selecting the day you would like to go to the office.
Find a day you want to go to the office
Select your building/floor/area/desk
Check your reservation
Adjust if needed
You are ready to go!
The level of detail is determined by your employer. On the day itself, your shift and location are visible at the top of your screen. After you have booked a shift, Mapiq Office Shifts remembers your latest booking and automatically fills this in for your next booking, saving you time in the process.
Once you’ve reached your quota, the rest of the days are grayed out, and on your home screen you’ll see that your maximum is reached for that week
Delete your shift
If you decide not to come to the office anymore on a specific day, you can delete your shift by selecting the day (green checkmark icon) and click delete booking.

Be aware that your employer administrates Mapiq and determines the booking policy. Depending on the applied booking policy, deleting shifts on the day itself is not allowed. If you need to swap shifts, get in touch with the administrators within your own organization.
Check your quota and change your default office
In the settings menu, you can easily change your default office. Also, you can find the rules of your access profile there.
If you have any question about the rules set under Your profile get in touch with the administrators within your organization. A contact address can be found at Questions? or reach out to your local service desk for more information. Note that Mapiq is unable to make any changes to your profile.
